ABS-Like Resin: Strong, Rigid, Built for Electronics
Precision plastic parts that withstand impact, vibration, and assembly stress. Perfect for wire covers, enclosures, brackets, and standoffs.

Our ABS-Like Resin
Key Properties Table:
Applications

Ideal for
· Wire Covers & Cable Management: Protect exposed wires, organize cable routing, custom clips for PCB layouts
· Enclosures & Housings: Custom electronics boxes, protective covers, connector guards
· Mounting Brackets & Standoffs: PCB spacers, component holders, vibration isolation feet
· Connectors & Adapters: Custom cable organizers, port covers, alignment fixtures
· Test Fixtures & Jigs: Assembly aids, alignment tools, functional prototypes
· Rapid Prototyping: Design validation, fit-and-function testing, quick iterations

Not For (Limitations)
· High-Temperature Environments: Not suitable for >60°C continuous exposure (ovens, heat sinks, thermal stress)
· High-Precision Tolerances Beyond ±0.05mm: Resin 3D printing has physical limits; tighter tolerances require injection molding or CNC
· Flexible/Elastomer Applications: ABS-like resin is rigid; not suitable for gaskets, seals, or flexible components (we can source flexible resins on request)
· Food-Contact or Medical Applications: Not FDA/food-safe certified; requires customer validation for regulated uses
· Transparent/Optical Parts: ABS-like resin is opaque; not suitable for lenses or light-transmitting components
Material Flexibility
ABS-like resin is our default, but we're open to acquiring specialty resins based on your needs:
· Flexible Resins: For gaskets, seals, vibration dampers
· High-Temperature Resins: For thermal-resistant components (up to 200°C+)
· Tough/Impact-Resistant Resins: For high-stress mechanical parts
· Specialty Resins: Fire-retardant, conductive, or other custom properties
Need a Different Material? We Can Source It.

Real-World Applications

Enclosure for Electronics Housing
· Material: ABS-like resin
· Batch: 50 pieces
· Tolerance: ±0.05mm (critical connector mating surfaces)
· Lead Time: 1–2 weeks
· Cost: ~$2.50/piece
· Why Resin 3D Printing: Tight tolerances for connector fit, custom geometry, rapid prototyping
Wire Cover for PCB Assembly
· Material: ABS-like resin
· Batch: 150 pieces
· Tolerance: ±0.1mm (standard)
· Lead Time: 1–2 weeks
· Cost: ~$2.00/piece
· Why Resin 3D Printing: No tooling cost, fast iteration, precise fit to PCB layout
Design Your Parts for Success
· Wall Thickness: Minimum 1.5mm (structural), 2–3mm for threaded/high-stress areas
· Hole Sizing: Design holes 0.1–0.2mm smaller than final size; we can ream or tap if needed
· Support Marks: Expect 0.1–0.2mm raised areas where supports attach; optimize orientation to avoid critical surfaces
· Material Limitations: Not suitable for >60°C, prolonged UV, or flexible applications

Frequently asked questions
Can you print in colors other than the standard?
Standard ABS-like resin is opaque with minor batch-to-batch color variation. We can source specialty colors on request; contact us for details.
What's the maximum temperature ABS-like resin can handle?
Safe for continuous exposure up to ~60°C. Beyond that, consider high-temperature specialty resins.
Can you print flexible parts?
Not with standard ABS-like resin. We can source flexible resins for gaskets, seals, and dampers; ask in your quote request.
Do you offer post-processing like painting or coating?
We handle cleaning and packaging. For advanced finishing, we can recommend local partners.
